TCLite is a simple .NET framework for writing and running microtests. Its key features are...
Tests are incorporated into executable assemblies, which reference only the framework and the system under test. Only one test assembly is run at a time.
A strong focus on use of microtests with the feature set limited to those that are useful for that kind of test.
Strong isolation of tests, with a separate instance of the test class created for each test case.
Fluent assertions very similar to NUnit's.
Test Results are saved in NUnit 3 or NUnit V2 format.
The framework targets .NET Standard 2.0. Tests may be run under the .NET Framework 4.61+, .NET Core 2.0+ or .NET 5.0.
Tests may be run on Windows, Linux or Mac
TCLite is still under development but I consider it usable at this time. However, features will continue to be added and removed until we reach a stable 1.0 release.
