Microsoft Information Protection SDK
Microsoft Purview Information Protection is a security and data protection platform that consists of a data classification service, rights management service, and sensitivity labeling system that are used to help organizations discover, label, classify, and protect sensitive data or personally identifiable information (PII).
The MIP SDK exposes the labeling and protection services from Microsoft Purview to third-party applications and services. Developers can use the SDK to build native support for applying labels and protection to files. Developers can reason over which actions should be taken when specific labels are detected, and reason over Microsoft Purview-encrypted information.
