  • Umbraco 16.5.1–16.x on .NET 9 or Umbraco 17.4.0–17.x on .NET 10 - Articulate version 6.x (deprecated; Articulate 7.0.0 supersedes it from Umbraco 17.7.1)
  • Umbraco 13 LTS (maintenance) - Articulate 5.x.

Installation

Install the package line that matches your Umbraco installation:

  • Umbraco 17.7.1 through 17.x: dotnet add package Articulate --version 7.*
  • Umbraco 18.2.1 through 18.x: dotnet add package Articulate --version 8.*

Upgrading

Back up your site, database, and media before upgrading.

On Umbraco 17 or 18, install TinyMCE.Umbraco before first run to keep TinyMCE as your rich-text editor. Without it, Articulate converts the editor to TipTap using its default settings. Existing custom TipTap configuration is preserved.
