This package contains a .NET Template Package you can call from the shell/command line.

Custom template - Konzole Microservice

Instalation:

  • install dotnet sdk
  • run command: dotnet new -i Alza.Konzole.Templates.Microservice.Simple::*
  • OR
  • run command from this location: dotnet new -i ./content

Usage:

  • run command dotnet new konzole-service-simple -n MyNewService
  • navigate to ./MyNewService and open MyNewService.sln in Visual Studio

Don't forget in Visual Studio:

  • our testing VM (http://konzole2) must be accessible (over VPN)
  • set nuget source to our repository (how to)
  • set Kestrel web server (avoid IIS) - config location: YourService.Api/properties/launchSettings.json
    • there is a combobox on the right side of the green button (launch)
    • change IIS Express to YourService.Api
