Xtreme Route library
Introducing the Xtreme Route library, your go-to solution for advanced route planning, isochrones, and fleet routing. This comprehensive software library is designed specifically for .NET developers who require robust routing capabilities, complete with support for various routing elements like networks, road segments, paths, and sub-nets.
Crafted in C# within the Microsoft .NET framework, the Xtreme Route library offers a high-level, object-oriented approach, making it both user-friendly and powerful enough to tackle complex routing challenges effortlessly.
Whether you're developing desktop applications, deploying on web servers, or needs as a service, the Xtreme Route library shines with its automatic multi-threading support, making it perfect for server solutions. It can handle multiple networks concurrently and execute route calculations in parallel, all seamlessly managed within the library—no additional development required.
For more detailed information regarding the Xtreme Route software library, including technical descriptions and examples, please refer to the following resources: Getting started with the Xtreme Route library.

Licensing
The Xtreme Route library is a commercial software library that requires a license for full access. However, you can utilize a limited set of its features without a license, specifically one-to-one routing. For detailed information regarding licensing, please refer to chapter 4 of the Getting Started guide (link provided above).
Testing Xtreme Route library
If you like to try out Xtreme Route library, please contact info@xtremeroute.com and ask for a time-limited license. You can also test one-to-one routing without a license.
To make testing easier, you can download and use this road network for UK which is imported from OpenStreetMap: UK road network.
There is also a demo application that can be downloaded and tried, which shows some example functionality in Xtreme Route used from a WPF application: Xtreme Route demo application
Sample
Below is a sample for creating a route between Big Ben in London and Manchester United Football ticket office in Manchester:
// Big Ben in London
double fromLat = 51.500974, fromLon = -0.124834;
// Manchester United Football Tickets office
double toLat = 53.464367, toLon = -2.294300;
// Create license-free Tasker, if a licence is available send it as arguments here
Tasker tasker = new Tasker();
// Load UK network, modify path as needed
Storage st = Storage.FromFile(@"C:\UK Road Network", "United-Kingdom");
// Calculate shortest route between Big Ben in London
// and Manchester United Ticket office in Manchester
Router router = new Router(tasker, st);
router.Settings.CostType = CostType.Distance;
NodePath path = router.Route(fromLon, fromLat, toLon, toLat, true);
// Display a simple result
MessageBox.Show("Drivetime: " + path.TimeSpan.ToString() +
", distance: " + path.Distance + " " + st.DistanceUnit.ToString());
