Webority.Diagnostics.Abstractions

The contract a Webority library implements to report into a product's Diagnostics console. It references only the base class library.

A library implements one or more of these five interfaces:

  • IDiagnosticsContributor: a section with settings, checks, links and expiries.
  • IDiagnosticsSource: an external source the collection runner reads on a schedule.
  • IDiagnosticsLogMetricProvider: KQL metrics the App Insights source runs.
  • IDiagnosticsAction: a self-test a staff member runs from the console.
  • IDiagnosticsMobileApps: the product's mobile apps, from its infra map.

The engine is the Webority.Diagnostics package. It runs the collection and keeps the history.
