Tungsten.Threading provides a Thread.Sleep method and ThreadMethod class which makes creating a background thread (long running task) easy.
Due to the advances with Visual Studio and to make coding easier, all of the Tungsten projects have been re-integrated into a single project (and NuGet package). Also removed support for .Net Framework 2.0 and 3.5.
Install-Package Tungsten.Threading -Version 2.0.1
dotnet add package Tungsten.Threading --version 2.0.1
<PackageReference Include="Tungsten.Threading" Version="2.0.1" />
paket add Tungsten.Threading --version 2.0.1
#r "nuget: Tungsten.Threading, 2.0.1"
// Install Tungsten.Threading as a Cake Addin #addin nuget:?package=Tungsten.Threading&version=2.0.1 // Install Tungsten.Threading as a Cake Tool #tool nuget:?package=Tungsten.Threading&version=2.0.1
Removed ThreadMethod.IsStarted and ThreadMethod.IsRunning as they were superfluous. ThreadMethod can now be run any number of times.
- No dependencies.
- NETStandard.Library (>= 1.6.1)
NuGet packages (2)
Showing the top 2 NuGet packages that depend on Tungsten.Threading:
Tungsten.Net makes it easy to add tcp sockets to your application. Client and server classes are provided, with and without assymetric encryption. Note that the secure classes always use RSA for encryption; no symmetric session key is exchanged. For larger data sets, this can make the secure classes noticably slower and will use more CPU time.
Tungsten.Suite is a nuspec only package. It aggregates the most Tungsten packages available for each framework into one package.
This package is not used by any popular GitHub repositories.
