OASIS API Contracts
Overview
The OASIS API Contracts project contains shared interfaces, enums, and contracts that can be referenced by both OASIS.API.Core and Unity projects. This ensures a single source of truth for all OASIS contracts.
Features
- Unity Compatible: Built with .NET Standard 2.1 for Unity compatibility
- Single Source of Truth: All interfaces defined once and shared
- Clean Architecture: Separates contracts from implementation
- Cross-Platform: Can be referenced by .NET 8/9 and Unity projects
Contents
- IOASISMapProvider: Map provider interface for OASIS ecosystem
- Future Interfaces: Will contain all OASIS interfaces and enums
- Shared Contracts: Common data structures and enums
Usage
// Reference this project from OASIS.API.Core
using NextGenSoftware.OASIS.API.Contracts.Interfaces;
// Reference this project from Unity
using NextGenSoftware.OASIS.API.Contracts.Interfaces;
// Reference this project from Providers
using NextGenSoftware.OASIS.API.Contracts.Interfaces;
Architecture Benefits
- ✅ Single Source of Truth for all interfaces
- ✅ Unity Compatibility without .NET version conflicts
- ✅ Clean Separation of contracts from implementation
- ✅ Easy Maintenance - update interface once, affects all projects
- ✅ SOLID Principles maintained
Future Plans
This project will eventually contain:
- All OASIS interfaces (IHolon, IAvatar, etc.)
- All OASIS enums (MapProviderType, etc.)
- All OASIS contracts and data structures
- Shared utility classes

NextGenSoftware.OASIS.API.Providers.GOMapOASIS
Connects the OASIS to GOMap -- a geo-location and augmented reality mapping engine providing the spatial layer for placing OASIS entities on real-world maps and AR overlays. Powers the Our World and One World geo-spatial visualisation layers. Part of the OASIS HOT-Swappable Provider Architecture. Ecosystem: https://oasisomniverse.one |
|
|
NextGenSoftware.OASIS.STAR.APIClient
.NET HTTP client for the STAR ODK REST API — lets external apps create OAPPs, holons, and quests against the STAR WebAPI without a direct library dependency. |
|
|
NextGenSoftware.OASIS.API.Managers
Provides all high-level OASIS manager classes including AvatarManager, KarmaManager, HolonManager, DataManager, MapManager, SearchManager, ProviderManager, and more. These managers are the recommended integration point for .NET apps -- they abstract the underlying HOT-Swappable Provider Architecture and give you clean, consistent async APIs for avatars, karma, holons, keys/wallets, NFTs, search, and geo-data across 55+ providers. Part of the OASIS Omniverse ecosystem at https://oasisomniverse.one |

NextGenSoftware.OGEngine.Client
Native AOT .NET client for the WEB4 OASIS API and WEB5 STAR API, plus P/Invoke interop exports for OGEngine-based games (OQuake, ODOOM etc). Handles avatar auth, inventory, quests, XP, karma, NFT minting and sync callbacks — bridging the OASIS/STAR platform directly into native game engines. |
GitHub repositories
This package is not used by any popular GitHub repositories.
- OASIS Omniverse Reboot and Rebrand: major ecosystem relaunch under oasisomniverse.one after ~3 years of deep development.
- Added WEB6 (The AI Layer) with full LLM routing via FAHRN — supports OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Cohere, HuggingFace, and Azure OpenAI.
- Added WEB7 (The Spatial/AR Layer), WEB8 (The Holographic Layer), WEB9 (The Neural Layer), and WEB10 (The Omniversal Layer) decentralised API tiers.
- Added ONET P2P network with FAHRN (Federated Adaptive Holonic Routing Network) and HolonicBraid mesh routing.
- Added OASIS HyperDrive v2 with DHT-based distributed storage and replication.
- Added OASIS MCP Server for seamless WEB4-WEB10 tool integration.
- Full implementation of all remaining provider interface stubs across all ~55 OASIS Providers.
- Security overhaul: CORS hardening (open/pluggable API policy), JWT validation fixes, NuGet vulnerability remediation across all projects.
- Fixed GetKarmaAsync returning 0: now falls back to AvatarDetail.Karma when in-memory cache is empty.
- Auto-creates AvatarDetail on first karma award if it does not exist yet.
- Fixed MongoDB holon save always inserting instead of updating for REST clients.
- Fixed circular reference serialisation causing truncated JSON in loadHolon responses.
- Fixed null max_tokens causing 400 errors across OpenAI, Cohere, AzureOpenAI, and HuggingFace providers.
- JWT middleware now skips silently on invalid tokens; AuthorizeAttribute handles the decision.
- PreferOpenServ, EnableFAHRN, EnableHolonicBraid, and ApiKeys added to OASIS_DNA.json.
