#Introduction This is a repository for a NuGet package. A micro-framework for simply structuring and working with asynchronous ASP.NET Core actions.

#Getting Started There's nothing to it:

  1. Reference the package
  2. Subclass your action from the base HttpAction class.
  3. Implement the ExecuteActionAsync method to do the work of your action.
  4. Implement the TryGetLocalConditionInfoAsync method to take advantage of conditional request handling.
  5. Profit!

#IPreconditionInfo Types implementing this interface contain information about the current version of some data. This is often a rowversion column value for SQL-based applications, but also could be produced from a list of modified stamps or some other technique. By creating and providing this information the library is able to compare condition information in the request, such as the If-Match header, with version information locally at the server and then continue to execute the action only if conditions are met. Convenient extension methods exist to make it simple to add ETags to responses, too.

#Build and Test Please ensure that any and all classes you add to this package are very well tested. This is a general package intended for use across many projects. Code must be of the highest quality.
