Digital Wonderlab Licensing

Offline licence checking used by Digital Wonderlab packages for Umbraco.

You do not need to install this yourself. It comes in automatically as a dependency of the packages that use it.

What it does

  • Checks a licence key against a public key built into each package. There are no network calls, so a site keeps working if it is offline or our systems are down.
  • Reads the licence details: who it is licensed to, the edition, the domains it covers and any expiry date.
  • Development hosts (localhost, *.local, *.test) never need a licence.

Licence keys are issued by Digital Wonderlab. For help with a licence, raise an issue on the package that uses it.
