WEPACK.CQRS
Minimal CQRS implementation built on MediatR — one-line registration, automatic scanning.
Description
Simplifies CQRS pattern usage in .NET applications by:
- Registering MediatR with automatic handler discovery
- Adding common pipeline behaviors out of the box:
- Request/response logging
- FluentValidation integration
- Supporting async commands and queries
Installation
dotnet add package WEPACK.CQRS --prerelease
Usage -
In Program.cs:
C#// Most common case — scans current assembly
builder.Services.AddWEPACKCQRS();
// Or specify assemblies explicitly
builder.Services.AddWEPACKCQRS(typeof(CreateUserCommand).Assembly);
Example-
// Command
public record CreateUserCommand(string Email, string Name) : IRequest<UserDto>;
// Handler
public class CreateUserCommandHandler : IRequestHandler<CreateUserCommand, UserDto>
{
public async Task<UserDto> Handle(CreateUserCommand request, CancellationToken ct)
{
// your logic
return new UserDto { Email = request.Email, Name = request.Name };
}
}
// Validator (automatic)
public class CreateUserCommandValidator : AbstractValidator<CreateUserCommand>
{
public CreateUserCommandValidator()
{
RuleFor(x => x.Email).NotEmpty().EmailAddress();
RuleFor(x => x.Name).NotEmpty().MinimumLength(2);
}
}
Usage in controller:
C#private readonly ISender _sender;
[HttpPost]
public async Task<IActionResult> Create([FromBody] CreateUserCommand cmd)
{
var result = await _sender.Send(cmd);
return Ok(result);
}
